Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 26 November 2019 – Join over 200 attendees on 5th December at the Armani Hotel in Dubai to “Party Like it’s 1989” in support of the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF). The CNCF is an international non-government organisation, dedicated to serving some of the world's most vulnerable and marginalised children by providing emergency and long-term shelter, medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational opportunities, vocational training and job placement. Transguard Group will be the headline sponsor for the 1980’s-themed gala.

In celebration of the Foundation’s 30th anniversary, the gala is being held to raise money for a range of children’s programmes in Mongolia and Vietnam. There are several opportunities to contribute to fundraising during the gala, including a pledge drive and an auction; all funds raised will be used in various ways to support the children, such as for food, school supplies and medical costs.

“We are pleased to have Transguard Group as the headline sponsor for this year’s gala; new partnerships are a great way for us to open new avenues to grow our supporter base in the UAE and having Transguard onboard will help build awareness of CNCF in the region,” said Helenita Noble, CEO, Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. “We’re also fortunate to count the international rugby community as a long-term source of support and this year we’re particularly excited to announce that Lee Mears, Alesana Tuilagi, Ceri Sweeney, Mel Deane, Orene Ai’i and Eliota Sapolu Fuimaono, among others, will be attending the event.”

Meanwhile, Transguard Group considers its involvement with the CNCF as an extension of its CSR initiatives. “Sponsoring the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation is an exciting opportunity to contribute on a global scale. We wanted to do something more than just support the event with sponsorship, so we have offered up the expertise and event management of our experienced Marketing team, as well as our expert security team, to help with every aspect of the event from start to finish,” explained Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group. “Past editions of this signature fundraising event have had a major positive impact on the work of the CNCF, so we’re pleased to align ourselves and be directly involved with this inspirational organisation that’s making a real difference in the world.”

Tickets for the gala cost 750 AED per person and 7,000 AED per table of 10 and are available at http://bit.ly/1989CNCFGala. All fundraising is approved by IACAD, permit number 2712.
