How important is operational efficiency to Global Village?

Global Village is the region’s first-ever, multicultural festival park. Speaking about the success this entertainment concept has enjoyed over 21 seasons, Ahmad Al Marri, Director of Operations & HSE at Global Village says, “Operational efficiency is of utmost importance to us, as it helps us create the ‘Global Village’ multi-cultural experience that our guests always look forward to.”
Global Village first opened its doors in 1997, offering an engaging experience to families through a wide variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and funfair activities in an open-air environment. It brings together more than 75 countries in one place and has hosted 21 successful seasons so far. Global Village has welcomed 5.6 million guests in its 21st season over 159 days and is now gearing up for its 22nd season starting on November 1, 2017.
Al Marri attributes Global Village’s high levels of operational efficiency to having thorough and highly skilled teams working on the ground. Over 500 of Transguard Group’s personnel work at Global Village, providing facilities management and security services.
