Transguard Group Opens Dedicated Medical Facility
Located in Jebel Ali, a second primary care clinic is scheduled to open later in the year

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Transguard Group is pleased to announce that it has officially inaugurated the company’s new purpose-built medical facility in Jebel Ali. Greg Ward, Managing Director, Transguard Group, was accompanied during the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Salim al Maary, Chief Executive Officer, Salubrity Valley Clinic and Pharmacy, Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, CEO, Health Regulation Sector, Dubai Health Authority and Faris Mohammed Al Mazmi, Director, Clinical Audit and Control Department, Dubai Health Authority.
“Our employees are our number one priority,” said Dr. Abdulla Al Hashimi, Chief Executive Officer, Transguard Group. “This clinic is the result of our team’s dedication to the well-being of our site-based colleagues.”
The 185 square metre clinic is accessible 24-hours per day, seven days per week, is operated by a team of two doctors, two nurses and other medical personnel, including two pharmacists. It offers a wide range of medical assessments and other tests, including PCR tests, urine sampling, basic blood work, x-rays and more. Located at Transguard’ s Jebel Ali 1 residence, a daily shuttle service from other Jebel Ali-based accommodations provides free transportation to and from the clinic for Transguard employees in the area.
“This facility was designed to meet the specific needs of our site-based staff,” Ward explained. “From its strategic location at the heart of our Jebel Ali residential facilities to its state-of-the-art equipment and extensive pharmacy, we are pleased at this opportunity to enhance our existing welfare initiatives.”
The new clinic is the latest addition to Transguard’s in-house medical facilities, which include a long-term care facility for more serious conditions and illnesses. A second primary care clinic is currently under construction and is expected to open before the end of 2021.
