Transguard Group Gives Back

Transguard’s vehicle workshop recently paused its work on cash vans and passenger buses to help some very special Dubai students
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – First opened in 2021, the dedicated vehicle workshop of Transguard Group handles an average of 700 jobs a month for its extensive fleet. While that work normally encompasses cash vans and passenger buses, a few months ago the business solutions provider opened the workshop for a very special project: the pro bono refurbishment of two vans used by the Special Needs Future Development Center (SNF), a Dubai-based organisation that focuses on empowering young adults with special needs.
“SNF is doing incredible work that is quite humbling,” said Rabie Atieh, CEO, Transguard Group. “We were proud that they approached us to support them with this initiative.”
After a decade of daily use transporting students to and from the Center, the SNF vans had endured a significant amount of wear and tear that Transguard’s workshop was ideally situated to address. Refurbishments included replacing carpets and leather seat covers, thorough interior and external cleaning and other external cosmetic maintenance.
“We are so pleased that Transguard extended its support to our organisation,” stated Safia Bari, Director, SNF. “These vans are integral to our work and allow us to help integrate our students into the workforce, as well as arm them with crucial life skills.”
This collaboration with SNF is the latest in Transguard’s community initiatives, which include supporting the Dubai Center for Special Needs, Manzil Center and others.
