Transguard Group Publishes 2022 Sustainability Report

Dubai, UAE, 16 September 2022 – Business solutions provider Transguard Group is proud to announce that it has published its 2022 Sustainability Report. Available for download on the company’s website, www.transguardgroup.com/csr, this year’s report reflects on Transguard’s progress and celebrates multiple milestones centred around its key CSR pillars – the environment, its people, marketplace and community. Highlights include:

  • Investment of AED 13 million in environmental initiatives
  • A solar panel project in one of Transguard’s accommodations that feeds power back to the DEWA grid nine months of the year
  • 729,005 kWh of clean energy generated through the Shams Dubai Initiative
  • A reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 1,946 metric tons (from 2020 to 2021)
  • Collaboration with Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) and that resulted in more than 111 kg of plastic handed over as part of the “Let’s Reduce and Recycle” campaign
  • Free sanitary products available to all female site-based employees
  • Distribution of more than 5,000 welcome kits, which includes toiletries and other essentials, for new site-based employees since January 2022
  • 4,493 recreational activities for site- and HQ-based employees from April 2021 to October 2022
  • Launch of transguardgroup.com/internalvacancies, a page exclusively dedicated to internal promotions
  • 5 million training hours at Transguard’s Centre of Excellence since 2017
  • CSR Advanced Label certification from Dubai Chamber in October 2021
  • 33% female representation in the senior leadership team
