The announcement comes after its success in providing crucial support to the site, which hosted a global event several months ago. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Transguard Event Security has added another major golf tournament to its growing portfolio with their successful support of the European Tour season opener of last month’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship; it was also the first time Transguard has supported the event in Abu Dhabi.

With as many as 70 security specialists on-site in a number of roles, Transguard deployed management and security for 10 days in every corner of the dedicated grounds and facilities of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

In addition to actively enforcing social distancing, mask wearing and other safety protocols, each member of the security team also undertook a Covid-19 questionnaire every day. Transguard Security were visible in a wide spectrum of roles, including access control, vehicle control, parking access, traffic marshals, management and bubble security (including the dedicated hotel, restaurants, putting green and driving range). The team also worked in the hospitality areas and the Rolex and Championship Chalets, all of which saw 3,050 spectators across the four tournament days.

Transguard Group Secures Three-Year Contract with British Embassy

The new contract sees Transguard providing security services to the British Embassies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai until 2022

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Transguard Group, a leading UAE-based business services provider, has signed an agreement with the British Embassy to provide security services to both of its locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The three-year contract began on 1st April.

Working closely with the embassy and based on its past experience with similar facilities, Transguard developed a bespoke security package for the British Embassy that covers a host of requirements. These include the deployment of specially selected teams for each site, each of whom passed a rigorous interview process and successfully completed an internationally-certified training course.
