On September 25, 2016 Transguard began round 2 of its Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training.
Lean is a methodology used by leading organisations from around the world to drive process efficiency by removing any non-value adding steps. Six Sigma then optimises that process by reducing variation and minimising opportunities for process failure.
This methodology is a great initiative that provides a CI (Continuous improvement) thought process to employees to apply in their daily work. The objective is to get as many employees as possible trained as yellow belts and green belts to improve process efficiency within the company.
The first round of 13 green belts finished their projects on October 3, 2016.
In Round 2, 12 Transguard employees are undergoing Green Belt training.
Join us in wishing our new batch of trainees’ good luck!
